Abbeys lady winter poem

Lady winter

The chilled air getting thinned down
I am experimenting in the light chill blowing across my face
Birds flying south so they won't get cold
Froze toes, violet cheeks clapping my hands to keep warm Lady winter is in the air
I can smell her lingering scent
Trees cold,flowers asleep
Waiting to bring the warm back
Puffy jacket and long socks keeping me warm as I walk
Standing here in the gardens closed eyes and head up high as I feel the soft breeze and warm sun beaming on my back
Lady winter makes her entrance blowing a chilly asher breeze as her soft feet hit the ground
The rays from the glowing sun reflect off the luke warm water
Shadow dancing walking along through the bushes
This place is so magical like in a book, just me and my friends standing here sketching as lady winter sends a message of chiles down our spines
